Creating content doesn't need to be an endlessly overwhelming task. By incorporating time-management principles into your content creation workflow, the process can become surprisingly easy & straightforward.

Here are some tips to help you maximise your workflow:

  1. THEME YOUR DAYS

If you're struggling to get your content done, try giving each day a theme. It's like having a schedule for different types of tasks, making it easier to batch similar work together and stay focused. For example, on Mondays, focus on writing – plan blog posts, script videos, or write captions for Instagram. This helps if you feel scattered and want to make progress in your content creation.

Here’s an example of how theming your days could look:

    M – Writing T – Designing W – Editing blog post TH – Editing captions F – Scheduling

  2. BATCH YOUR WORK

When you batch your work, you put similar tasks together. This way, you don't have to keep switching between different things.

Doing many things at once doesn't make us work better, so don't spend your time jumping from one random task to another.

Instead, stick to what you're really good at by doing similar tasks all at once.

M – Writing  (e.g. blog post, script your video, write social media captions)

T –  Designing (e.g. Pinterest graphics, YouTube thumbnail, social media graphics)

W – Editing blog post (e.g. editing blog post, script, video or photos)

TH – Editing captions (e.g. editing social media posts)

    F – Scheduling (e.g. scheduling all content)
